Date: Monday 9th March 2020
Venue: Room G11, Wellington House
As part of the Muslim Network Health Collaboration’s efforts to improve members skill sets, the Collaboration are hosting a series of professional development courses on improving soft skills.
Please join us for our first course around communication skills which will look at how best to improve communication across various settings, including navigating difficult conversations.
The course will be delivered by Dr Zaza Elsheikh. Dr Zaza is qualified as a medical doctor and as a solicitor (Hempsons), before leaving both professions to become a CEDR accredited civil/commercial mediator in 2006. She subsequently trained to resolve family, including Direct Consultation with Children, and workplace disputes. Her professional background provides her with that extra edge to rapidly distill complex issues and, at the same time, establish a strong rapport with parties and their representatives in mediation. As a full-time mediator, Zaza has been instructed to settle a wide range of disputes, including: clinical negligence, commercial contracts, residential property, family separation/divorce, workplace dysfunction, partnership dissolution and probate. She receives referrals (pre-action or during proceedings) from, among others: NHS Trusts, GP practices, schools, private individuals, religious institutions, lawyers and courts.
